Covid cases spike in Karnataka, the latest update is over 21000 cases in just one day.

There is some increase in the covid cases in recent days like you can see that every city is contributing here, however, state capital Bengaluru seems to be giving more – 15,617 cases in one day. A positivity rate shown in the state is 10.96% with 1,541 discharged present day.

With this 93,009 active cases in the state and 73,000 in Bengaluru. Also, 10 people died in 24 hours. As per the latest reports you can see that the night curfew and weekend curfew is being extended to avoid more disruption in the state. This is being done, keeping Omicron in mind with covid cases already. Some restrictions are made like prohibited all possible rallies, dharnas, festivals and any kind of protests as well.
