ವಿದ್ಯಾವರ್ಧಕ ಕಾನೂನು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಥಮ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಅಣುಕು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗೆ ಚಾಲನೆ : ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕ ಡಾ. ಎಂ.ಕೆ. ರಮೇಶ್ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆ        

ಮೈಸೂರು :- ವಿದ್ಯಾವರ್ಧಕ ಕಾನೂನು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದಿನಾಂಕ: 27-03-2026 ರಂದು ಪ್ರಥಮ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಅಣುಕು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೇಯನ್ನು ಆಯೋಚಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆಯನ್ನು   ಡಾ. ಎಂ.ಕೆ. ರಮೇಶ್, ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಕಾನೂನು  ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕರು,  ನ್ಯಾಷನಲ್ ಲಾ ಸ್ಕೂಲ್ ಆಪ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಯುನಿವರ್ಸಿಟಿ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಇವರು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು.

ಇವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾವರ್ಧಕ ಕಾನೂನು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಸಾಂಗ ಮಾಡಿ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ನೆನೆಯುತ್ತ ಈ ಒಂದು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವೃತ್ತಿ ಜೀವನದ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯವನ್ನು ವೃದ್ದಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಅಣುಕು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೇಯು ಕಾನೂನು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದ ಮುಂದೆ ವಾದ ಮಂಡಿಸುವ ಕಲೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚತುರತೆಯನ್ನು ಕಲಿಸುವುದು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಶೋಧನೆ ಸಾಮಾರ್ಥ್ಯವನ್ನು  ಕಲಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.  ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೇಯ ಮೂಲಕ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು, ಕಾನೂನು ಅಂಶಗಳನ್ನ ವಿಶ್ಲೇಷಿಸಿ ಎದುರುದಾಳಿಗಳ   ವಾದವನ್ನು ತರ್ಕಬದ್ದವಾಗಿ ಎದುರಿಸುವ ಸಾಮಾರ್ಥ್ಯವನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಹಾಗೇಯೇ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧೀಶರ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೇಗೆ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು, ಹೇಗೆ ಸಂಶೋಧಿಸಿಬೇಕೆಂದು  ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದ  ನಡವಳಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಚಯಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕವಾಗಿ  ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ಭೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೋಗಲಾಡಿಸಿ ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸವನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಕಾನೂನು ಅನ್ವೇಷಕ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ  ಸುವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ, ನ್ಯಾಯ ಶಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಲು, ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ತತ್ವಗಳನ್ನ ತಾರ್ಕಿಕ ಚಿಂತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಾಕ್ಷ್ಯ ಆಧಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸುತ್ತದೆ.  ಈ   ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೇಯು  ಒಂದು ಸಂಕೀರ್ಣ ಕಾನೂನು ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಕಾನೂನು ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳು, ಹಿಂದಿನ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದ ತೀರ್ಪುಗಳನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿ ಸಂಶೋಧನೆ ಮಾಡುವುದನ್ನ ಕಲಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯೇ ಕಲಿಕೆಯೇ ಗೆಲುವು ಎಂಬ ಧೋರಣೆಯನ್ನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮೂಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. 52 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ಈ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಮೊದಲ ಅಣುಕು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯನ್ನು ಆಯೋಚಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಅಂತಿಮವಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಶುಭ ಹಾರೈಸಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹಾರೈಸಿದರು.

ಈ ಸ್ಫರ್ದೆಗೆ ವಿವಿದ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ  ಅಂದರೆ ಚೆನೈ, ಕೇರಳ, ತಮಿಳ್ನಾಡು, ಆಂದ್ರಪ್ರದೇಶ, ಮಧ್ಯ ಪ್ರದೇಶ, ತೆಲಂಗಾಣ, ಛತ್ತಿಸ್ಘಡ್,  ಹಾಗೂ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ  ಒಟ್ಟು 19 ಕಾನೂನು ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಿಂದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು  ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೇಗೆ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾವರ್ಧಕ ಸಂಘದ ಗೌರವಾನ್ವಿತ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರ್  ಪಿ. ವಿಶ್ವನಾಥ್ ರವರು  ತಮ್ಮ ಹಿತನುಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಣುಕು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೇಯು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಆರೋಗ್ಯಯುತ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ ಮತ್ತು ಬೌದ್ಧಿಕ ಗೌರವವನ್ನ ಸೂಚಿಸಿರುತ್ತದೆ  ಹಾಗೂ ಭಾವಿ ವಕೀಲರು ತಮ್ಮ  ಕೌಶಲ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸಹ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿಸಲು ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು,

ಅಂತಿಮವಾಗಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾವರ್ಧಕ ಸಂಘದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪಗೌಡ ರವರು ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೀಯ ಭಾಷಣದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯವಾಯಿತು.

ಈ ಕ್ರಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ  ವಿದ್ಯಾವರ್ಧಕ ಕಾನೂನು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಸಿ.ಎಂ.ಸಿ. ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರ್ ಎಸ್. ಶಿವಲಿಂಗಯ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಕೋಶಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀಶೈಲ ರಾಮಣ್ಣನವರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ. ದೀಪು ಪಿ. ಇವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಸಹಾಯಕ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಅಣುಕು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೇಯ ಸಂಯೋಜಕರಾದ  ಡಾ. ಶ್ರೀದೇವಿ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ರವರು ವಂದಾನಾರ್ಪಣೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.

First National Mock Court Competition launched at Vidyavardhaka Law College: Retired Professor Dr. M.K. Ramesh inaugurated

Mysore:- The first National Moot Court Competition was organized at Vidyavardhaka Law College on 27-03-2026. The program was inaugurated by Dr. M.K. Ramesh, Retired Professor of Law, National Law School of India University, Bangalore. He recalled his days at Vidyavardhaka Law College and how this college has been successful in enhancing the skills of students for their careers. This Moot Court Competition teaches law students the art and skill of arguing before the court and teaches research skills in the students. Through the competition, students develop the ability to analyse legal aspects and logically counter the arguments of opponents. Similarly, it introduces students to how to behave before judges and how to conduct them in court. It removes the fear of public speaking and insists confidence in the students. Law is an investigative science that develops logical thinking, evidence-based thinking, and scientific principles to maintain order, justice, and peace in society. This competition teaches students to search for and research constitutional law books and past court judgments on a complex legal problem.

He said that students should develop the attitude that competition is learning and victory is victory. After 52 years, this college is organizing the first Moot court competition. Finally, he wished all the participants the best of luck and hoped that the program will be successful.

Students from a total of 19 law colleges from various states, namely Chennai, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, and Karnataka, participated in this competition.

On this occasion, the Honourable Secretary of Vidyavardhaka Sangha, Shri Engineer P. Vishwanath in his welcome address said that the Moot court competition insists healthy competition and intellectual respect in the students and also helps the future lawyers to showcase their skills.

Finally, the program concluded with the presidential address by the President of the Vidyavardhaka Sangha, Shri Gundappa Gowda.

In this program, the CMC of Vidyavardhaka Law College, Engineer S. Shivalingaiah, President and Treasurer Shri Srishaila Ramannavar and Principal Dr. Deepu P. were present. Assistant Professor and Moot Court Competition Coordinator Dr. Sridevi Krishna presented the vote of thanks.
