Non-Vegetarian Restaurant
Original Hanumanthu Devi Mess in Mysuru, a seemingly nondescript eatery with a legency of 90 years which has started during pre-independence times in 1930.
The iconic Hanumanthu Hotel is famous for its mutton pulav that patrons relish from six am each morning! The restaurant, now looked after by the second and third generation, father-son duo of, Parmesh and Vishal cooks all its food on firewood. The gentle masala spicing makes this a fragrant pulav, which has perfectly cooked pieces of meat, with a slight bite. The organ meat and fat of the mutton and chicken intensifies the meaty flavours in this pulav.
This restaurant, part of Mysore’s rich culinary history is a must-visit!
