Kashi Vishweshwara Swamy Temple(Gosai Ghat)

This is situated on the banks of the Cauvery river, upstream of Sangama. A temple dedicated to Sri Kashi Visweswara swamy is located on the banks. Coracle rides and bathing completes a visit to this place. It is an ideal spot for picnics and many movie scenes have been shot at this location.

Just two kilometers from Gosai Ghat is another scenic spot, ‘Paschima Vahini,’ which is home to a few heritage buildings and bathing ghats of the Wadiyars.

Not just its serenity, the place has some tales from history to tell too, given its association with the Wadiyars of Mysore and the Tiger of Mysore, Tipu Sultan.
